When you connect Asana to Huddle, you're granting access to all workspaces associated with your Asana account in a single authorization step. This is different from how some other project management platforms handle connections.
Asana uses a user-level OAuth authorization model. When you click "Connect Asana" and sign in through Asana's authorization screen, you're granting Huddle permission to act on your behalf across your entire Asana account—not just a single workspace.
This means:
Some platforms like Linear or ClickUp use workspace-level authorization, where you explicitly select which workspace to connect during the OAuth flow. If you belong to multiple workspaces on those platforms, you may need to authorize each one separately.
With Asana, the authorization is tied to your user account rather than individual workspaces, so a single connection gives Huddle visibility into all your Asana work.
After authorization, Huddle can retrieve your tasks, projects, and workspace information from any Asana workspace where you're a member. We only pull the data needed to display your tasks in your Huddle dashboard.
You can disconnect Asana from Huddle at any time in your account settings. You can also revoke Huddle's access directly from your Asana account under Settings → Apps → Manage Developer Apps.
